The Chicco My First Chalkboard educational board, made for children aged 2–6. It helps the child gradually develop writing and drawing skills in a fun, interactive way. The board has an LCD screen and a special ergonomic stylus the child can use to draw and practise different movements of the hand and wrist. The set includes 10 exercise cards – 6 for pre-writing practice, 3 with letters and numbers and 1 demonstration card. There are 4 play modes – tracing lines, writing letters, writing numbers and free drawing. When the child has finished, the content is erased at the press of the button, and a special locking mechanism lets the drawing be kept on the screen. The design is inspired by the Montessori method and encourages independent learning, creativity and the development of fine motor skills. The board also has a handy stand and a clip for holding the cards.
