Small children love to open the oven door, and that carries a risk of burns. This additional lock makes it harder for them to open it on their own while staying easy for adults to use. The mechanism requires two deliberate movements to open and can be released with one hand, so the oven works as usual when needed. It is attached with a self-adhesive, heat-resistant tape – no drilling and no screws. To keep the bond secure, the instructions on position and application must be followed. The latch opens to the left or right, so it can be adapted to the specific kitchen layout, and the discreet grey colour blends in with most kitchen fronts. The product is an additional safety measure and does not replace adult supervision.
