The REER Basic hob guard provides extra protection for small children in the kitchen and helps prevent access to the hot hob, pots and pans. The extendable construction allows the width to be adjusted from 55 to 61 cm, which makes it suitable for hobs of different sizes. The guard is suitable for electric and induction hobs. The tall guard makes it harder for a child to reach the hot hob and stops pots and pans from being pulled off the worktop easily. The REER Basic is designed for installation without drilling or screwing. The special mounting strips hold it securely to the worktop and can be removed without residue when used correctly. The width can be adjusted within the range 55–61 cm, which lets the guard adapt to the size of your particular hob. The smooth construction makes cleaning and upkeep easy. The guard must be fitted correctly and securely in line with the manufacturer's instructions. Before use, check that it is compatible with the specific type and size of your hob.
